Oglethorpe County High School Bulletin for Friday, October 31, 2014
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month Attention OCHS! October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and we've got you covered in the media center with everything you need to support this important cause. We have an a Think Pink! display in the media center with many items to purchase from pink Patriot infinity scarves to ball caps to pink polish. Come check out what we've got and help our team raise money to put an end to CANCER!
Beta Club The Beta Club will be running its annual canned food drive from October 27th-November 24th. Bring undamaged, unexpired canned goods to your first period class to help every family in our community have a happy holiday season this year. The first period class with the most cans will receive a prize, so donate as much as you can!
Bus Loads Students please stay in your assigned area in the afternoons during bus loads. You will receive a write-up if you are not in your assigned area.
notes Students this is a reminder that when you are absent or bring a note to the office your parent needs to put your full name, their full name and a phone number. These notes are to be in the office by 3rd period. I have noticed we are getting notes around lunch time. That does not give us enough time to call and get a response from parents especially when it is a bus note.
NHS Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes The NHS service project for Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes has been postponed until Tuesday 11/4/14. NHS members must have their own transportation to participate. Please let Mrs. Thompson know by Friday if you plan to attend. We will meet at the Dollar Tree by Academy at 4:30.
