Book Club High school book club is reading V for Vendetta this month. See Ms. Kitchens to check out a copy, and don’t forget to come to Ms. Kitchens’ room for snacks and discussion from 3-4 on September 25th!

Patriot Perks Patriot Perk is back!! Students, come by our table on Thursday mornings in front of the cafeteria. Coffee with your choice of creamer is $1.00 and breakfast snacks are $0.50 and $1.00. For teachers, coffee and snacks are available all week through pick up or delivery.

BETA The Beta Club meeting has been rescheduled for Wednesday, September 20th.

Car Riders ATTENTION Students who are car riders, Please remember that the morning drop off location is located at the back of the school in the car rider line. The front entrance and driveway are for bus traffic only.

County Library Teen Events The Oglethorpe County Library is hosting the Anime Club - Thursday, September 21 @ 6:00pm Join us as we watch anime and discuss manga. There will be snacks! This free program is recommended for ages 11 - 18.

Costa Rica If snorkeling in the Caribbean and climbing a volcano sounds like the summer for you, then come to an information meeting on Tuesday, September 26th at 6 P.M. in Room 104 for Costa Rica 2018. See Mrs. Simmons in Room 104 for details.

HS Book Club Please remember to pick up your copy of the Book Club book! You can get a copy from the county library or Ms. Kitchens. Book Club meets after school on Monday, September 25 in Ms. Kitchens' classroom! We'll have snacks!

Interact Club The next Interact Club meeting will be Wednesday, September 27th right after school in Mr. Schmidt's room, 505. We should be finished by 3:30. We will be voting for officers. See Mrs. McGarity if you have questions.

HERFF JONES ATTENTION Seniors: HERFF JONES will be here tomorrow during lunch and then from 3-6PM!

Notes Notes Notes Bus notes, Doctor notes, Sick notes, Early release notes or Transportation change notes should be dropped off in the office before 3rd period. Notes received after 3rd period may not be accepted. All BUS NOTES should be picked up during your lunch as they will no longer be distributed during class. It is the responsibility of the student to pick up notes during your lunch times, this will help staff reduce class interruptions.

Key Club If you would like to join key club we will be having our second meeting after school today in Mrs. O'Tuels room #102 on the ninth grade hall.

HOSA Meeting HOSA will be having a meeting this Thursday, Sept. 21st for all members. Please remember to bring in $25.00 if you have not paid your dues.

Homecoming Students who wish to bring a date to the homecoming dance from another school must have their date approved by Mrs. Johnson in advance. If you would like to bring a date from another school, come by the office tomorrow to pick up a form complete and return it no later than October 9. The principal from your date’s school must sign the form. No middle school students are allowed at the dance.

Softball Congratulations to the softball team for their region win over Putnam County yesterday. Come out and support them at the next home game Monday vs. Rabun County. It will be teacher appreciation night.

Store Students who wish to buy items from the store are welcome to stop buy during lunch, tickets to the store are available when you go through the lunch line.
